The Coffee Club, January 2013

You're very entertaining and a real crowd pleaser, - with a large fan base! A very good voice, you sound just like Frank Sinatra. Many thanks.

'A Night Before Christmas', December 2012

Bethlehem Town Centre, Tauranga

I would recommend Reuben as a performing artist to anyone who wishes to entertain a crowd. He is someone who engages with the crowd in a relaxed, easy going style and is extremely well received, especially to an audience of more than 6000 people! Reuben is very easy to work with, and very professional in his manner. He surprises the crowd with his mature voice and great choice of songs. He was also well organised in getting his music and promotional material to us well on time. I hope he will be a part of A Night Before Christmas in 2013!!

Kelly & Alan's Wedding, December 2012

Simunovich Olive Estate, Auckland

Thank you so much for performing at our wedding. It was the perfect type of music for our guests while they were having canapés and waiting for us to return for the reception. Although we didn’t get to enjoy your performance as we were off having photos done, our guests have raved about your incredible voice and how enjoyable your performance was. More than one commented that you had an old soul for someone so young. Thank you also for taking care of our music during the ceremony and for being so reliable and prompt with your communication. Much appreciated!

Caughey Preston Rest Home, October 2012

Remuera, Auckland

The residents and I thoroughly enjoyed your voice, manner, song choices and interaction with the audience. Unfortunately we are booked for the rest of the year, but rest assured you were ultra-popular and we would like you to come back. Regards and thanks

1920s Themed 21st Party, September 2012

The Gin Room, Auckland

It was just amazing. You really set the theme for the night, right down to your dress. The music was perfect both for the background of the evening and also for a bit of a dance at the end of the party. I'd highly recommend you to anyone & everyone - a couple of people couldn't understand how you were real until I promised to pass on your contact details!

Diner from the Sebel Trinity Wharf Hotel, April 2012

Trinity Wharf Hotel, Tauranga

We went to Halo [restaurant] (located in the Sebel Trinity Wharf Hotel) on a recent Saturday night. The restaurant looks out over the Tauranga Harbour and did not feel like the usual hotel restaurant. Service was excellent, food superb but wine was very expensive - cheapest glass of wine was $12. However we had a lovely evening and especially enjoyed the entertainment provided by a young male singer.

Mt Maunganui Ladies Club Closing Day, November 2011

Mt. Golf Club, Tauranga

The ladies were absolutely delighted. Had all of the old girls up dancing. Wonderful voice, wonderful talent. A young man going places.

Letter to the editor, December 2008

Bay of Plenty Times newspaper, Tauranga

On November 22 [2008] we were lucky to win tickets to the Tauranga Musical Theatre’s production of Swingin’ Jazz. The show was fantastic, and the whole production team and cast are to be highly commended on putting on such a top performance, equal to some shows we have been privileged to see in London. If this is the calibre of talent we have locally, the future of musical theatre in the Bay is secure. Special credit to Reuben Simpson, a very talented young man with a huge future ahead. Also to Lianne Howell for the excellent choreography. Keep up the good work TMT.
